Aussie snack shack owner and chef Jamie Smith says he is now offering his customers a new method to make their own in house protein bars.
The ‘no-fuss’ recipe, which can be found on his website, is called the “Snack Shack Recipe” and it allows customers to make the bars themselves using only their own hands.
“I think it’s a really cool concept and I’ve been trying to think of ways to make this happen for a while,” Mr Smith told The Wall St Journal.
“This recipe is really simple and it doesn’t take any fancy equipment.
It’s a real no-fume, no-bake, no chemical process.”
Mr Smith has been making his own snack bars for a number of years and his “no-foods-allowed” recipes have been featured on Food Network and Cooking Channel.
“It’s pretty much all handcrafted,” Mr James said.
Mr James also said he was open to feedback from his customers and he encouraged people to use his recipes in a healthy way. “
Other recipes have a little bit of butter and coconut oil mixed in and a little baking powder.”

“People who are gluten intolerant can use a mixture of peanut butter, almond butter and olive oil and I think that’s what is most effective,” he said.
Mr James has had a hard time finding customers to stock his new snack bars in the past.
“My customers have been really supportive,” he explained.
“They have been so helpful and helpful, and I’m not a very busy person so I’ve just been trying and trying to find the right recipe for what people are looking for.”
