A cat and a dog bowl that was given to a Canadian woman for Christmas have been removed after she complained she was too hungry to eat it.

The Canadian Press reported on Tuesday that a woman named Karen told CBC News that she had received a bowl and a bag of cat food for Christmas from a store in Ottawa.

She said she was not sure if the bowl was actually a cat food bowl or just cat food and decided to give it to her daughter, who has Down syndrome.

The bowl had been delivered to the woman’s apartment on Nov. 1.

She didn’t take it with her because she didn’t want her daughter to miss out on the treats.

“It was the best gift I could have given her,” Karen said.

The woman was contacted by CBC News and told the bowls were in a plastic bag in a safe location.
