Miller is also on the advisory board of the Ketogenic Diet Forum, which is a group of researchers and advocates that support keto as a lifestyle option.
Keto is an awesome keto food and a super easy one to make.
Here’s how to make them.
1.1 ounce butter, softened and packed to a medium thickness (about 2 tablespoons) 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
Melt the butter and sugar together in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Stir constantly to prevent the sugar from burning.
Bring the sugar to a boil and then reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 15 minutes.
The butter will cool and turn into a liquid.
Remove from heat and stir in the baking powder, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt.
Whisk until everything is smooth.
Remove the brown sugar from the heat and pour it into a mixing bowl.
Add the butter mixture and whisk until well combined.
2.5 ounce cream cheese, softened 3 ounces cream cheese sugar, melted 4 ounces cream of tartar, softened 4 ounces butter, melted 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 1 tablespoon brown sugar (or 1 teaspoon baking powder) 1 tablespoon coconut oil 1/3 cup water, divided Mix all ingredients together and form into a smooth, silky batter.
Cover the baking sheet loosely with foil and let stand at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
Remove foil and set aside.3.
In a small bowl, whisk together the butter, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder and vanilla extract until smooth.
Add in the cream cheese mixture and stir until combined.
Transfer batter to the prepared baking sheet and spread out evenly.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow to cool in the pan for about 30 minutes before serving.
To serve, sprinkle with more coconut oil. Enjoy!
